With its geothermal probes, shared space and mixed uses, «En Grandchamp» is truly sustainable

Offering regular income and relatively stable values, real estate is an important asset class. As ever, the goal is to combine the smallest possible environmental footprint with the greatest added value for society. The «En Grandchamp» complex in St-Légier Légier is a prime example of that approach in action.

The stylish «En Grandchamp» housing development in St-Légier (canton of Vaud) was completed in early 2020. Comprising 152 apartments with a medical practice and a daycare centre for children, it boasts many sustainable features including geothermal probes and solar panels, while great care was taken to select indigenous plants to promote biodiversity. A wide variety of outdoor spaces with playgrounds, herb beds and a small stream make it an attractive place to spend time. A centrally located waste disposal point facilitates recycling. EV charging stations to promote e-mobility are in preparation.
