Two employee representatives will have left the Board of Directors of the Swiss Federal Pension Fund PUBLICA in 2023: Mahidé Aslan stepped down at the end of June, while Jorge Serra, the current Vice-Chair, is leaving at the end of the year. On 10 October 2023, delegates in Constituency I elected Tania Cucè and Adrian Egger as new members of the Board. At its meeting in early December 2023, the Board of Directors appointed Nicolas Schmidt as its new Vice-Chair, with effect from 1 January 2024. Nicolas Schmidt has been a member of the Board of Directors since July 2021 and is a sustainable consumption and products specialist at the Federal Office for the Environment FOEN.
The Chair of the Board of Directors is Kaspar Müller, Deputy Secretary General at the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications.
